Remedial Classes

Cataning Elementary School is conducting remedial classes in Grade 1 and VI every Saturday for the whole month of February. Students in Grade one who are having difficulty to read are required to join the remedial class. This remedial class aims to improve the comprehension and reading ability of the pupils, does making all Grade 1 pupils readers. Teachers are also doing this in relation to the "No Read No Pass" policy of the Department of Education.
        In preparation for  the upcoming National Achievement Test (NAT) on March 5, 2010, all Grade six students are having remedial classes together with their teachers. In these remedial classes, Grade VI pupils are given exercises in English, Science and Health, Mathematics, Filipino and Hekasi. Grade VI pupils are also taught how to fill up the forms to be used in NAT as well as the proper shading.
